No more laying down for long periods of time in tight enclosures, we are able to obtain images of the heart in an upright seated position, with an open-air environment.

Dr. Farrugia has been a leader in the state of NJ for Radial Artery Catheterization, improving patient comfort and quality of outcomes.
High Risk coronary intervention
Complex Coronary Artery Disease(CAD) requires advanced techniques and training. Dr. Farrugia is board certified in Interventional Cardiology, with a strong background in complex cases. He continues to be a clinical educator for Fellows-In Training, with High Risk intervention dominating his clinical expertise.
Advanced Endovascular Intervention
Symptomatic Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) is treated both medically and through invasive procedures when appropriate. Dr. Farrugia served as the Director of Outpatient Vascular Medicine for 8 years for Barnabas Health Medical Group, and has transformed care with cutting edge, minimally invasive procedures designed to restore blood flow without having long down time or surgery related complications.
Cardio-oncology
Patients receiving certain types of chemotherapy need to have close cardiac monitoring. We work hand in hand with oncology specialists to achieve the best possible outcome for our patients.
Peripheral Artery Disease
Narrowing or blockage of the arteries that carry oxygenated blood to extremities such as the legs. We perform a minimally invasive, same day, outpatient vascular procedure with just a tiny pin hole to open the narrowing.
